Police marching on public sector strike May 10th

London Met police officers will stewarding their own march on May 10th along with the planned march and rally with other public sector unions – RMT, UNITE, UCU and PCS – in central London against government pensions cuts.

This is the same police force who have been attacking, assaulting, kettling and generally kicking the shit out of people who go on demonstrations especially since the start of the student movement uprising in 2010.

The route has been planned to leave from Millbank at midday to finish up at Trafalgar Square. The Police Federation are expecting 4000 coppers to turn out from forces all across the country.
